On our little slice of heaven in the middle of the woods, we are living holistically with the plants and animals that surround us and our 225-year-old log home. We tend to the land while the land provides for us.
We want to share our love of Mother Earth through our carefully crafted herbal creations as well as educating our community about plant medicine and consulting with individuals on their personal healing journeys. Knowing the plants around you and how you can work with them intentionally, instills an empowering sense of security and ensures a mutually beneficial relationship. This is our journey back to our roots and this is our promise to our future generations that we will not let this knowledge get lost in the world.
About the Herbalist
Tonya Kness
A horticulturalist turned community herbalist who began creating and using home remedies for her family before others started coming to her for their needs as well. Wanting to be of service and to share the knowledge she has gained over the last ten years of learning about and immersing herself in the plant world, she eventually starting making small batches of her own remedies and offering them to others.
In addition to a decade of hands on and feet in the soil experience, she has completed the Alchemical Herbalism program as well as the the Vitalist Practitioner program through the School of Evolutionary Herbalism.
What began as a general love for plants and gardening has transformed into a deep heart felt connection and understanding of the wisdom contained in these magnificent beings. Learning to unravel the layers of information and translating it to the human body through simple and effective ways.
